Weekend in York
Just returned from a beautiful weekend at the log cabins near York. I am from just 30 miles from York so it was a trip home for me. It was a beautiful Crisp Winter Day and the ancient cobbled streets looked so romantic with the Christmas decorations every were. You could smell the roasted chestnuts and mulled wine at the outdoor markets.
We did some Christmas shopping, drank some mulled wine and wallowed in the hot tub back at the log cabin afterwards..

You live in such a charming part of the world. How lucky that you get to enjoy it like this.
ReplyDeleteI am so lucky, but I always forget to go and appreciate it. When I am abroad (In Paris or Munich) I take the time to walk the streets and visit the great restaurants and coffee shops, at home I get stuck in a rut and miss all the beauty nearby. xx
